A: There is a great number of studies available about Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus. The Australian association SBH Queensland regularly gathers and publishes a selection of titles. They can be found under the tab \\\"Documents\\\".

A: Dear, For the moment we do not have any expertise in this area. Our expert gave as advice to teach an 11 year-old with Spina Bifida to be independent with catheterising. Teaching independence may be a viable alternative, if the child is able to learn to do this himself.

A: The best advice is to bring a visit to the doctor (orthopedist) who followed the patient as for now. Because no orthopedist who knows something about Spina Bifida can give any advice concerning adapted orthopedics without seeing the patient.
